Carlotta Centanni – “From Italy With Love”

Carlotta Centanni, the Italian singer from Rome returns to Foundry616 following her acclaimed Sold-Out album launch last October, where she captivated her audience with “The Songs of Naples – Le Canzoni di Napoli” performed in a Neapolitan dialect.

This is the latest instalment of Carlotta’s Italian Project launched in January 2017 which brings the authentic sound of Italy to life and celebrates our passion and love for Italian culture. With Sold Out shows entitled “Baci Da Fellini”, “Romamore” and “From Italy with Love” performed across Sydney at renowned venues including Lazy Bones, Camelot Lounge, Foundry616, The Vanguard, El Rocco, Intercontinental Hotel Double Bay, Venue 505, Marconi Club, Italian Forum and Sheraton on the Park.

She will be sharing the stage with some of Australia’s finest musicians; Peter Locke on piano, Juan Carlos Allende on Percussion and Mark Howard on double bass, performing a mixture of Italian songs, sung in Neapolitan and Roman dialect. The repertoire is also accompanied with hits from her latest album and songs by her favourite artists, including Ornella Vanoni, Mina, Gino Paoli and Paolo Conte.

Carlotta is known for the deep colour of her voice and for her heartfelt and soulful performances. Her four studio albums are a mixture of original songs, jazz standards, and Bossa nova. You can easily find her music online via Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube.
