It's celebrate printmaking-time at Tiliqua Tiliqua – and this year we have a theme!

We asked contributing artists to consider Boundaries, physical or metaphorical. Their art could be about making boundaries or breaking them (certainly drawing them!), observing them or ignoring them. They could explore edges, liminal spaces or maps. Their boundaries could be political, personal or aesthetic. (We only asked that they be healthy.)

Now we bring the results to you. As always, the variety of responses we got was a delight. Variety in method, in subject matter, and in interpretation of the theme.

The other variety was in the artists themselves. It is our philosophy here at Tiliqua Tiliqua to invite and accept work from artists at all stages of their careers – from emerging to successfully at their peak of experience and skill. And it has resulted in an exhilarating mix of work.

So come explore an exhibition about the edges of things, the limits we push, and the boundaries we can celebrate.

Drinks with the artists 3–6pm Saturday 16 August
