In this workshop you will make beautiful cyanotype prints using plant specimens you will collect and arrange on specially treated sunprinting paper.

Slow down and observe the shapes and patterns of leaves, plants and natural objects around the farm. Participants will make prints to take home to display or use as craft materials.

There are two sessions available

  •  9.30am to 10.30 am Friday 19 January – book

  •  11am to 12pm Friday 19 January – book

What you will learn:

  • Patterns in nature found on the farm

  • How to use sunprint paper to create an artwork

  • How to arrange natural objects to create a composition

What you will get:

  •  Small group size and experienced facilitator

  •  Two completed sunprints to take home

Suitable for all ages and abilities. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, one adult per group of three children please.

Facilitated by Nadia de Ceglie, an art and design teacher who loves making creativity accessible for all ages and abilities.  

Please note: This is an outdoor program running at the farm rain or shine, please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. For the safety of visitors and volunteers events may be postponed or cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
