Baden Croft is an early career artist based in Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Baden's practice is influenced by life on the Australian coast where he spends endless hours surfing and exploring the native flora and marine life. With a deep connection to his natural environment, Baden's subject matter spans from native gums and floral arrangements to insects and crustaceans. In thick textured oil paint up to 3cm deep, Baden's work comes to life with depth, movement and subtle plays on perspective.

Since Baden's first solo exhibition in 2017, his paintings have greatly appreciated and are now recognised and sought after by art collectors and interior designers. Baden has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne, and his works are held in private collections around Australia.
