This online exhibition is designed to reflect on the significance of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, and to remember the ‘forgotten faces’ of Australian Korean War veterans.
A total of 21 veterans were selected by historian and curator of the Anzac Memorial, Bradley Manera to tell the stories of their beautiful comradeship and noble spirit of sacrifice and to remember the very personal cost of the Korean War to the people of Australia and of Korea.
The Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney and the Korean Cultural Centre Australia are proud to present this online exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of that tragic time in our shared history.
