Australian Haydn Ensemble presents Beethoven’s Seventh

Australia’s world-class period ensemble, The Australian Haydn Ensemble, is bringing its performance of Beethoven’s Seventh to Sydney’s City Recital Hall on Monday 21 August at 7pm.

With its latest musical interpretation, the ensemble continues its ambitious and fascinating exploration of historical “parlour” arrangements of classical works performed on period instruments. Exhilaration abounds with Beethoven’s famed Seventh Symphony, as well as the overture to Fidelio and a remarkable quintet by Boccherini.
