Reflect, respect and celebrate are the core messages as we are encouraged to pause and reflect on the First Nations Australians and to celebrate our cultural diversity and rich migrant heritage as only Australians can. In future years the date may well change away from the anniversary of the landing of Captain Arthur Phillip, but for now 26 January marks a spectacular finale to the summer holidays and the Sydney Festival.
