This course is in two 2.5 hour workshops a week apart
Join a beginners’ workshop in creative construction using reuse resources from the Reverse Garbage warehouse.
You'll be guided by talented assemblage artist Fiona Arnold who has over 30 years as a community artist.
You'll use hand and power tools to manipulate the array of reuse resources materials, you will learn the critical aspects of assemblage. Absolutely no skills are needed, just an open mind and a willingness to explore your creative side.
Here’s some feedback from Dana who attended Fiona’s workshop in 2019.
"Fiona’s positivity and confidence in each of us was so inspiring. I now am mildly confident using power tools! More than that, the class helped me learn to look at shapes and objects in a completely new way, and think of what they could become. Perhaps the best part of it was the chance for free play – an invaluable opportunity rarely afforded to adults.”
