In a playful and socially conscious twist on consumerism, ART AID has teamed up with the Fringe Festival to bring Sydney its very first art vending machine with purpose

All profits raised from the art vending machines will be donated to the Women and Girls Emergency Centre.

The vending machine, which is wrapped in the artwork of local designer Micke Lindenberg, will be open for business until the end of September.

Alongside the vending machines, the 'Art Occupation' exhibition features a wide range of artworks and site-specific activations from 19 local artists, photographers, and designers.

Art lovers and visitors can purchase a print via QR code from the building’s foyer, purchase a secret art object from the vending machines, or wander around the laneways and discover murals, illustrations, and temporary installations.

Participating Artists:

David Cragg, Lauren Webster, David Lee Pereira, Claire Foxton,  Bart Celestino, Nani Puspasari, Ellie Hannon, Ben Brown, Gabby Malpas, Micke Lindenberg, Jason Parker, Billy Zammit, Jack Fran, James Gulliver Hancock, Made by Tsuki, Andrew Dennis, George Goodnow, Sahil Roy, and Mikey Freedom.
