Note that Vending Machines and Art Aid prints are only accessible during Salesforce Tower opening hours. Please see Sydney Place website for more information.
In a playful and socially conscious twist on consumerism, ART AID has teamed up with the Fringe Festival to bring Sydney its very first art vending machine with purpose.
All profits raised from the art vending machines will be donated to the Women and Girls Emergency Centre.
The vending machine, which is wrapped in the artwork of local designer Micke Lindenberg, will be open for business until the end of September.
Alongside the vending machines, the 'Art Occupation' exhibition features a wide range of artworks and site-specific activations from 19 local artists, photographers, and designers.
Art lovers and visitors can purchase a print via QR code from the building’s foyer, purchase a secret art object from the vending machines, or wander around the laneways and discover murals, illustrations, and temporary installations.
