Friday 16 August 2024 from 10am to 1pm
Join us in exploring three art venues in inner Sydney.
The first stop on our journey is the State Library of New South Wales to view works on display from their unique collection of landscape and portrait paintings, ranging from the 1790s to today.
We will then continue to SH Ervin Gallery to view the Salon des Refusés 2024. Featuring 61 artworks, this exhibition showcases an ‘alternative’ selection of works entered but not included in this year’s Archibald and Wynne Prizes.
Finishing at Robin Gibson Gallery, we will view David Pottinger’s ceramic exhibition_ Reverb: New Nerikomi Pieces _andartworks by Andrew Hopkins, who has been a finalist in the Brett Whiteley Travelling Scholarship and in the William Fletcher Biennial Travelling Fellowship Residency at the British School at Rome.
