Amber Guinness cookbook launch

When

Sunday 7 April 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am

Amber Guinness, the English cook and food writer who lives in Florence, Italy, is in Sydney to launch her new cookbook Italian Coastal.

Join Amber and Barbara Sweeney from Food & Words at Woollahra Library at Double Bay to celebrate the new book and hear about Amber's enthusiasm for all things Italy and food.

Inspired by the markets and food of summer holidays by the beach, Italian Coastal is a fusion of recipe book, travelogue, and memoir. With sumptuous food and travel photography throughout this book and this event will transport readers to the sunny Mediterranean.

'Breathtakingly beautiful, Italian Coastal is transportive and filled with recipes I want to immediately cook.' - Julia Busuttil Nishimura, author of Around the Table

A sip of Iced Allpress Speciality Coffee will get you in the Italian groove.

About the author: Amber was born in London but raised at Arniano, the Tuscan farmhouse her parents restored near Siena. She has a first class Masters degree in History and Italian from the University of Edinburgh, and has worked as a cook in both London and Italy. Amber's first book, A House Party in Tuscany, featured recipes and stories from her internationally acclaimed residential painting school at Arniano. Italian Coastal is her second book.
