Build your skills with this free online course hosted by Last Minute Productions who co-ordinate the StudioRCC music program at Redfern Community Centre.
Week 1: Introduction to AI – Overview of AI and its applications, including machine learning and deep learning.
Week 2: Digital Art – Introduction to digital art, including history and techniques.
Week 3: Music NFTs – Overview of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and their use in the music industry, including the creation and sale of unique digital assets.
Week 4: AI in Digital Art – Exploration of AI techniques used in digital art, including neural networks and computer vision.
Week 5: Music NFTs and Blockchain – Understanding the technology behind NFTs, including blockchain and smart contracts.
Week 6: AI in Music – Overview of AI techniques used in music, including machine learning and generative models.
Week 7: Tools and Platforms – Introduction to tools such as Magenta, DALL-E, and Stable Diffusion for creating AI-generated digital art and music.
Week 8: Digital Art and the Future – Discussion of the future of digital art and the impact of AI and NFTs.
Week 9: Music NFTs and Monetization – Strategies for monetizing music NFTs, including tokenization and sales.
Week 10: AI and Ethics – Discussion of ethical considerations in AI and digital art, including issues of bias and ownership.
During the course: Students will use tools such as Magenta, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion and others to create their own AI-generated digital art or music NFT, which they will present and discuss in class.
