The rise of AI and Industry 4.0 is revolutionising the way products are designed, manufactured and distributed. In addition to improving productivity and economic outcomes, can experimenting with alternative forms of manufacturing also enhance sustainable behaviour and environmental performance within the built environment?
This showcase highlights research projects that investigate the processes and methodologies of advanced pre-fabrication and fabrication techniques. Utilising state of the art facilities at UTS, researchers are prototyping products and systems for a broad range of industries. Learning with each iteration, these inventive design processes are producing unique and customised manufacturing solutions that are both cost-effective and climate positive.

This monthly event series invites industry and community organisations to learn more about the research expertise at the UTS Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building and the exciting collaborative opportunities that exist.
