Step into the world of ballet and experience the unique blend of strength, control, and artistry that has captivated dancers for centuries. Our 8-week Adult Ballet Course is designed especially for adults—whether you’re completely new to dance or returning after time away.

In a supportive and welcoming environment, you’ll be guided through the foundational techniques of classical ballet, building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination along the way. Each class offers the opportunity to slow down, focus on your movement, and develop a greater awareness of your posture and alignment.

Ballet is not only a physical practice, but also a creative one. As you progress, you’ll begin to move with greater confidence and expression, learning how to connect movement with music in a way that feels both structured and enjoyable.

Our classes are inclusive and encouraging, with a focus on personal progress rather than perfection. You’ll be supported to move at your own pace, making this an ideal environment for beginners.

All our tutors are Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certified, bringing both technical expertise and a passion for teaching adult learners.

Course content

During the course, participants will work with techniques and ideas such as:

  • Introduction to the five basic ballet positions

  • Barre work to develop strength, control, and precision

  • Centre practice to improve balance and coordination

  • Musicality and expression through movement

  • Simple choreography and movement combinations

Intended audience

These classes are ideal for adults with little to no prior ballet experience.

It’s perfect for those looking to improve posture, build strength and flexibility, or explore a creative and structured form of movement in a supportive environment.

No prior dance experience is required—just a willingness to try something new.
