Tuesday 12 April from 9:30am to 11:30am
The art of weaving has been an integral part of Aboriginal culture for thousands of years. The knowledge and skills have been handed down through the generations, and now you can learn it too. During the autumn school holidays, join Shared Knowledge’s expert weavers and learn how to weave with resources right here in the Centennial Parklands. You’ll also hear all about the historic use of native plants and how local Aboriginal peoples identify and utilise them.
