This is the very first exhibition featuring clear canvas, reviewed by the royal art society and many others. The new canvas follows the conventional canvas structure, cotton or linen, primed with paint or just painted. The new canvas is then stretched and stapled the conventional way, however this time with a custom clear acrylic frame. Professionals in the arts have commented "the clear canvas system is unlimited in its possibilities". Given the nature of this canvas, works such as a duel painting can be found on display. A true painting within a painting work. Another is a canvas made from clear paint and human hair also on display, one example has a mirror behind the work, enabling the audience to view the front and back of the art work at the same time. Works including water as a subject, lend themselves to a tinted see-through both solid (non-see through) and transparent pursuits. For those in wheelchairs, please visit at our special function evening on the Saturday 23 august from 3pm-6pm, works can be walked down to the foyer of the gallery for viewing. mob 0429694159 Danny
