Bondi Pavilion is the place to be this winter. For 2 weeks, it’s the home of a fringe-style winter festival, presenting the best in home-grown theatre, comedy, cabaret and circus.

Edo in the Sky
Marvel at intricately made and colourfully painted Japanese Edo kites at this Japan Foundation exhibition. On display will be a selection of 32 works by world-famous master kite maker Mikio Toki. There’s also a kite making workshop for kids with Toki on 11 July.

Bastille Festival
Experience the best of French food, art and culture. There’ll be more than 100 food stalls, live entertainment, an outdoor cinema and a showcase of boutique French wines.
