Youth Festivale

When

Saturday 9 April 2022 from 12pm to 4pm

Bring your friends or meet new ones at this free one-day festival for ages 12 to 18 as part Youth Week in the City.

You’ll enjoy a great line up of entertainment and activities kicking off from 12pm including:

  • live performance from BALLY BOY

  • plus MRVZ, Maysa and Zipporah and local artists Lil Arts featuring The Chaza, Big T, Sonboy, Triniti, Dibs, Yung Brother, and ByDezik

  • virtual reality and arcade games run by FREAK Entertainment and My Games Room

  • basketball competitions and special guest appearance by Redfern's very own Sydney Kings player Biwali Bayles

  • hands on artivism workshops exploring important issues through art and creativity

  • conversation circles led by Voices of Influence discussing human rights and social justice issues

  • delicious food from the Oz Harvest Food truck and the Retro Birdie ice cream truck

  • market stalls and more

A Welcome to Country and presentation of the Betty Makin Youth Awards takes place at 1pm.

This is a free event organised by young people and for ages 12 to 18 years only. Entry is free. Book a ticket or register on arrival.

The event will go ahead regardless of the weather.
