Worm farm basics webinar

See event description for details on how to connect.

Saturday 18 June from 1pm to 2:30pm

Did you know that more than a third of waste in household red lid bins is food waste?

Worm farming is a great way to deal with kitchen waste. Worm farms produce a fantastic organic soil conditioner to use in pots or garden beds.

Learn how to start your own worm farm, what to feed your worms and how to use worm products in your pots or garden beds.

Suitable for beginners.

You’ll learn how to:

  • select the best type of system for you, and where to put it

  • set up a worm farm including feeding worms and harvesting fertiliser

  • maintain healthy systems and avoid common problems

Webinar includes:

  • lecture-style presentation

  • links and notes via email

  • opportunity for questions.

Detailed instructions for attending the zoom webinar are emailed to participants the day before the session.

Presented by the Veggie Lady Toni Salter for Sydney City Farm.
