Where: Our office, Suite 13/50 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010.

Who's presenting?

  • Kamata by STEMtoto , presented by Neema Iyer In Kamata, join Nia in a cozy adventure to save the future of her island! Clean up the tropical paradise of Zimzemba by recycling, composting, and uncovering hidden secrets. Upgrade your gear, make friends, and solve the mystery behind the island's pollution. Kamata is made by STEMtoto, a game design and research studio co-founded by Neema Iyer, a digital artist, technologist and coach working globally and living in Sydney.

  • Oraculus by Sophia Westmacott Oraculus is an interactive murder mystery novel that allows the player to craft their own musical numbers based on the actions they take. It features whimisical and frabjous set pieces, music, characters and more. We'll be hearing from Sophia, the team's Game Designer, Creative Director, Sound Designer, Composer and Narrative Designer! Harmonica-equipped to boot!

  • Dungeons of Freeport by Elissa Black Dungeons of Freeport is a roguelite play-once-a-day text-mode game, in the style of Bulletin Board System door games from the '90s. With randomly generated rooms, a stealth mechanic, and recently implemented graphical UI, the game's looking more and more like a pencil and paper role-playing game! Elissa will be sharing a playable build of the game on the night.

  • Tea, Please!by Siobhan WIlloughby - Tea, Please is a short 30-minute game that explores the contrast between the drudgery and noise of office life and the surprising happiness and peace gained through remote work during lockdown. Siobhan (Shib) was previously a designer and builder of pretty websites and apps for 15 years, making the jump into gamedev last year. Excitingly, Tea, Please! was funded by Screen Australia’s Emerging Gamemakers Grant!
