Waterways, the upcoming exhibition of Sydney-based watercolour artist, Irina Kozyrevitch, invites art enthusiasts to embark on a captivating visual journey that explores the interplay between watercolour and the diverse water bodies of Sydney and its surrounding areas.

From the expansive ocean to the meandering rivers and scenic creeks of the Hawkesbury region west of Sydney, these waterways serve as a profound source of inspiration.

Irina Kozyrevitch is an exhibiting member of Ku Ring Gai Art Society, through the last few years she took part in a number of exhibitions, winning awards and getting into finals of multiple art prizes. Her works are in the Australian and overseas collections.

The body of artworks featured in _Waterways _began to take shape in 2021, during a period of lockdown when the sydneysiders were confined to a local radius of 5 km. Despite the limitations, Irina found inspiration in the immediate surroundings, discovering hidden beauty in the landscapes and waterways that had previously been taken for granted.

Join this visual journey and bear witness to the harmonious blend of tranquillity and vitality, captured with finesse and mastery in the delicate strokes of watercolour.

Waterways promises to be a remarkable exhibition that celebrates the captivating allure of water and its impact on the artistic soul.
