When

Thursdays, 3:30pm to 8:30pm Thursday 9 May 2024 to Thursday 27 June 2024

This course will provide instruction in drawing and composition principles to achieve successful watercolour painting results.

We will cover portraits , perspective , landscape and tonality.

This course allows the student to undertake their own projects or explore provided themes that will expand their knowledge of the media. Students will explore colour mixing, use of brushes, preparing the paper and paint application.

Students can choose to undertake their own directions or be guided with class exercises.

Each week the skills and confidence of the student will expand and they will be encouraged to attempt more challenging subjects.

By the end of the course, students will gain a knowledge of terminology , required equipment and use of materials. The students' level of skill and confidence with the media will increase and the resultant paintings will be more accomplished.
