Watercolour: plants and flowers

Join our relaxed 2.5-hour Sunday morning watercolour painting workshop at Ultimo Community Centre. This social hands-on session is a great opportunity to explore the details of leaves, flowers, and seed pods using watercolour techniques.
Learn to apply smooth washes, observe how water interacts with pigment to create organic, flowery effects and add texture, tone and form to your botanical subjects. Master colour mixing and transparent layering to add depth to your painting.
Your tutor will provide tips and hints guidance to help you discover the many possibilities of this magical medium, allowing you to develop confidence in your watercolour skills.
Intimate class size: maximum 10 students
Level: designed for beginner level students 16+years
Bring: yourself and an apron – all art materials provided.
Wear: enclosed shoes (no sandals or thongs) and comfortable clothing
