Australia’s favourite South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson is returning to ICC Sydney for her brand new 2024 national tour – Just Jokes.
According to Carlson, the show premise is simple.
“Just Jokes is as it says on the label! Just jokes! Come for a show and leave with a sore face from laughing! Switch off and relax.”
A deadset fan favourite (quite literally), Urzila is now a three-time winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s People’s Choice Award for most tickets sold at the Festival. She is also a household name in Australia, not least of all as a regular member of the panel of Network Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? _She was a contestant in season 2 of _Taskmaster NZ _in New Zealand, now airing on BINGE in Australia and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. Urzila made her UK TV debut in 2023, appearing on _QI during her September overseas tour. She also appears on Celebrity Gogglebox Australia alongside her mates, Julia Morris and Nazeem Hussain.
