Sarah Buick lives in Nimmitabel, in the Snowy Monaro region. Her paintings and drawings reveal the inspiration of this tranquil, spacious, and harsh landscape, with its subtlety of colours and changeable weather and light. In addition to painting and drawing, Sarah also works with textiles, preparing these herself from locally sourced fibres and creating yarns which are then knitted or crocheted into apparel.
Nicole Eggers is a Sydney based painter, photographer, printmaker, and ceramicist. Her love of the Australian bush underpins much of her creative work, reinforced by time spent in the immediate South Coast. Her strong interest in the welfare of native animals, in particular dingoes, for whom she has cared for over two decades, is an endless inspiration for her art making.
JJB Serra is also a Sydney based visual artist and musician. This recent body of work brings together about two years of his still lifes and cardboard sculptures. JJB Serra’s drawings, paintings and sculptural pieces are primarily concerned with exploring the intimacy of the familiar, focusing on ordinary, commonplace household objects and spaces as well as the understated beauty of the garden.
