Denise Allen is inspired by the textures in nature and by the organic, earthy glazes produced through high firing in a gas kiln.

She had attended schools run by Greg Daly, Jeff Minchim and Shannon Garson and has a love of traditional Japanese glazes such as Shino, Copper Red and Oribe glazes.

At the Shop Gallery she will exhibit ceramic sculptures, functional pieces, bonsai pots and jewelry.

Her work can be found on Instagram – 100pots100 days and www.bonsaiceramics.com
