In this Kil.n.it group show, 17 experimental ceramic artists contribute their take on the beer stein. Using a wide range of ceramic expressions and techniques, the artists draw inspiration from the brewery exhibition space at Yulli's Brews as well as the range of beers.

This is a unique, unconventional setting outside the traditional gallery space, stimulating creativity and inviting innovative, contemporary responses to this functional form. This represents a departure from Kil.n.it’s usual artistic pursuits, and a willingness to lower the divide between art and design.

  • Exhibition: Wednesday 16 October to Wednesday 6 November, Wednesday to Sunday 12 to 9pm

  • Opening Night: 16 October, 7pm
