The Other Art Fair Sydney

From 8 May to 11 May, Sydney’s White Bay Cruise Terminal will once again transform into a riot of creativity, where independent artists take centre stage and the usual art-world rules don’t apply.

Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair isn’t just an art event – it’s a full-blown experience. Meet over 100 artists, get hands-on with immersive installations, and discover work that makes you stop, think, and maybe even laugh out loud.

“Sydney brings the energy every time,” says Australian Fair Director Luke Potkin. “This isn’t a place for quiet admiration – it’s a place to connect, to explore, and to find art that actually speaks to you. We’re all about breaking down barriers between artists and art lovers, and this May, we’re back with more bold, weird, and wonderful work than ever.”

For those who like their art with a side of after-dark vibes, the Opening Night on Thursday 8 May (5–10pm) kicks things off with live DJs, a buzzing bar, and first dibs on some of the freshest work around. The fair then runs across the weekend, from Friday 9 May (3–10pm), Saturday 10 May (10am–6pm), and Sunday 11 May (10am–5pm).

Alongside the artists, expect interactive installations, unexpected performances, and experiences that throw traditional exhibitions out the window.
