The next wave of innovation in urban mobility

Soul Trap Bar
Soul Trap Bar
70-72 Campbell St, Surry Hills NSW 2010

Tuesday 4 April from 6pm to 7pm

What does it take to make moving around the city environmentally sustainable?

With rapidly growing populations, transport plays a huge role in city sustainability. We have an urgent need to decarbonise our transport systems, so we can move toward a more liveable future.

Collaboration between government, transport providers and the business world is crucial and leaders are beginning to come together around this common problem.

Richard will examine the role of vehicles driven by alternative fuel, public transport options and other ways to get around, such as walking and cycling. Find out about the ‘30 minute city’ and discover what role technology, including AI-based transport planning, plays in transforming how people move.

Richard Savoie is the co-founder and CEO of Adiona, which uses AI technology to power millions of efficient, lowest-carbon deliveries around the world for brands such as Coca-Cola and Amazon. Richard is a thought leader on transport, mobility and AI.

Richard has co-founded 3 technology companies with partners including the University of California (Berkeley), an award-winning not-for-profit in Boston and a 6000+ member social network ‘Engineers Looking For Stuff’ (ELFS).

Also speaking at Soultrap at 8:00PM is Professor Stefan Williams
