An intimate, guided evening of collaborative painting on a shared canvas, led by local watercolour artist Ru Biini.

Learn novel ways to sketch real life florals, explore watercolour painting, and refine your work in layers with expressive pastel marks. Held at The Dale in Sydney, this early evening creative gathering is designed as a slow wind-down from the day. It's a space to create and connect with like-minded people in a relaxed, thoughtfully curated setting.

Expect clear, supportive guidance throughout to help you get started, with plenty of space to work at your own pace as the piece evolves naturally over the session. Each session features a carefully curated mixtape and a complementary glass of bubbles (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

Working together at a long table covered in a single continuous sheet of paper, you’ll sketch and paint, and a floral garden scene using accessible impressionist techniques.

Unlike a traditional art class, you can move around the piece, respond to other people’s marks, and watch your individual contribution become part of a larger collective work.

This experience is intentionally designed for beginners and those wanting to reconnect with their creativity in a low pressure way. It is suited to singles, small groups of friends, date nights, newcomers to Sydney, or anyone looking for a creative way to slow down and reset after work.
