The Biointelect Venturer program provides participants with a real world understanding of the investment environment for life science technologies in Australia and other key markets – helping ensure they are both partner and investor ready.

Designed for those looking to leverage external funding to accelerate the commercialisation of their solution or technology, or take their start-up to the next level. This could include:

  • Start-up founders

  • SME leaders and executives

  • Commercialisation executives

  • Entrepreneurial researchers

The Venturer program is best suited to those with an existing life science technology (e.g. a therapeutic, medical device, diagnostic or digital therapeutic) who are likely to require additional investment and partnership in order to continue to progress the development of their solution.

  • Speakers with extensive real-world experience

  • Great networking opportunities

  • Training course delivered in partnership with ARCS Australia and Biodesign Australia

  • Subsidised by REDI initiative, powered by MTPConnect

The day will contain 4 sessions aimed to give participants a real life understanding of the investment environment in Australia. These will cover:

1. Types of funding available for life science companies

2. How to value your technology: the investors point of view

3. Communicating with different audiences

4. How to build your network
