The Art of Tax: Theory + Practice

When
  • Tuesday 28 May 2024 from 2pm to 5pm
Cost

Adult: $25.00Concession: $15.00Adult: Free for SAMAG Members

Knowing your tax obligations is complex even without the specifics of the creative sector added in. If you’re an artist, run an arts organisation, or simply work in the sector this seminar will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to navigate your rights and tax obligations ahead of the end of the financial year.

This special event will be in two parts:

  • Part 1: A refresher on the best approach for your tax return for this financial year, covering your obligations, deductions, the impact of grants and unravelling the jargon.

  • Part 2: Cover good practices for the new financial year with SAMAG’s own Steve Miller from Steven J Miller & Co Chartered Accountants who will answer your questions, go over documentation, record keeping and more.

The event duration will be approximately 3 hours and will be in a presenter, audience format followed by drinks and continued conversation.

If you have concerns about accessing this event, please contact us.
