Tender gives you permission to voyeuristically observe bodies weave and melt, from solos to duos to writhing group scenes that fluidly incorporate aerials and acrobatics exploring concepts of power play, sexuality, and intimacy. 

Accompanied by a lush, dark, grinding soundtrack, Tender includes original music by Sydney’s Bicon queen, The Voice finalist and ARIA dance chart climbing Penelope.

Watch as we disassemble gender constructs and dismantle binaries to form kaleidoscopic multitudes.

With a cast made up of entirely local Sydney artists that also includes:

  • Missy – High flying, genre defying performer with stylistic versatility.

  • J Twist – Gender distorting whilst body contorting; creator of shapes that you didn’t think were possible with the human body.

  • Tynga – Flipper, kicker, and dipper, trained in contemporary and traditional Indigenous dance with a passion for aerials and cirque.

And Boys² Chris Barnett and Mitch Wnek:

  • Chris – Softening strength into smooth and sensual flows, a creative all-rounder both in the air and out.

  • Mitch – Sassy and strong, meshing masculine and feminine energy into a performance spanning dance, floor acrobatics and aerial apparatus.

With multiple sell-out shows under their belt – this is one not to be missed.
