Local businesses will showcase their best with special offers, pop-ups and engaging activations. Soak up the festival atmosphere with live music, performers, kids’ activities and alfresco dining.

Sand Circle – George Street

11:10am – Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony

11:30am & 1:45pm– Buja Buuja Dance: Traditional First Nations dance & workshop

12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm & 4pm – Blak Voices Rising: First Nations monologue readings celebrating Black Theatre and Redfern’s cultural legacy

12:15pm – Dave Barnett: Captivating live didgeridoo sets sharing traditional sound and culture

12:45pm & 3:15pm – Cheeky Emus: Interactive kids’ workshops with Indigenous songs, dance & instruments

4:15pm – Blak Douglas: Renowned First Nations artist performing didgeridoo and storytelling

5:15pm – 8pm – Weaving Workshop: Hands-on First Nations weaving with natural fibres

Stage – Regent Street

11:30am & 12:30pm – Kyarna: Yuin singer-songwriter known for heartfelt, raw storytelling and soulful vocals

1:30pm – Dave Barnett: Captivating live didgeridoo sets sharing traditional sound and culture

2:15pm & 3:15pm – Majeda Beatty: First Nations and African American artist blending R&B, hip hop, and soulful storytelling

4:30pm & 5:45pm – Green Hand Band: Sydney reggae fusion group highlighting culture, identity, and social justice through music

6:30pm to 9:00pm – DJ Def Rok: Genre-spanning DJ known for dynamic sets that engage and energise diverse crowds

Weaving Workshop: Hands-on First Nations weaving with natural fibres  Hand Painting Workshop: Kids create art using Aboriginal stencils, totems & symbols  Koori Games: Traditional Indigenous games hosted by NASCA  Pass to Play: Inflatable pass-the-ball activity run by Souths Cares

The event runs 11am to 10pm. The area will be closed to traffic from 7am to 11.30pm between Regent Street and Chalmers Street. Special event clearway parking restrictions will also be in effect so check signs carefully, visit livetraffic.com for more info.
