Join us for the Sydney Space Industry Sundowner, a panel and networking event that explores the latest innovations and advancements in space technology and entrepreneurship.

This event will specifically focus on the innovation and commercialisation of advanced autonomous systems with two keynote speakers – Adrian Beer, CEO of METS Ignited Australia LTD and Professor Ian Manchester, Director, Australian Centre for Robotics.

In addition, there’ll be cohort pitch sessions from the QuantumTX Space and Technology Incubator Program. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from cutting-edge startups that are pioneering new space technologies and commercial applications.

The QuantumTX Space and Technology Incubator Program is an initiative aimed at supporting and mentoring early-stage startups in the space technology industry. The program provides resources, mentorship, and funding to help entrepreneurs develop and commercialise their space-related ideas and technologies.

The event will also feature live demonstrations of technology and robotics, showcasing the latest breakthroughs in space exploration and innovation.

Whether you're a seasoned industry professional or just starting out in the field, the Sydney Space Industry Sundowner is the perfect opportunity to connect with peers and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in space technology.

Featuring keynote speakers:

  • Adrian Beer, CEO of METS Ignited Australia LTD As a global industry leader, he brings extensive experience in the application of technology to the mining sector. Adrian is passionate about collaborative transformation, business efficiency, and maximising the effectiveness of operations for the benefit of all stakeholders.

  • Professor Ian Manchester, Director, Australian Centre for Robotics. Ian Manchester received BE and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales in 2002 and 2006, respectively. From 2006-2009 he was a post-doctoral researcher at Umea University, Sweden, and from 2009-2012 he was a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
