Welcome to the September edition of the Sydney Poetry Lounge, featuring poetry from Rachael Williams and Mark Campbell, and our incredible open mic!

Join us upstairs at The Glebe Hotel for a night filled with powerful spoken word performances and heartfelt poetry.

RACHAEL WILLIAMS

Rachael Williams is a spoken-word poet and writer from Darkinjung Country on the NSW Central Coast. She was an APS finalist in 2018, and since then has performed at every major poetry slam in NSW. Rachael has performed in the Art Gallery of NSW and the State Library of NSW, as well as at festivals: Viva La Gong, Gazefest, and Yours and Owls festival. She was the feature poet at the ACT State final of the APS 2023, a finalist in the National Youth Slam, and performed with the Bankstown Poetry Grand Slam for a sold out Sydney Town Hall. She is passionate about writing poems inspired from life, childhood, mental health, love and religion. When she's not on stage, or writing (or swimming) you will find her working in film and TV production.
