Sydney Peace Prize Award Ceremony and Lecture 2024

When

Monday 18 November 2024 from 6:30pm to 8pm

Cost

Starting from: $25

Join us for the Sydney Peace Prize Award Ceremony and Lecture to honour our 2024 recipient, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Kate Forbes, will be in Sydney to accept the award at the Sydney Peace Prize Lecture and Award Ceremony at the Sydney Town Hall.

Hear from Kate Forbes and a panel of experts on the role of the Movement, a network of over 16 million staff and volunteers, in saving lives and preventing the suffering of people affected by armed conflict and crises. In a year marking the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the 1949 Geneva Conventions, and amid unprecedented challenges to international humanitarian law, the work of the global Movement is needed more than ever.

The Sydney Peace Prize Award Ceremony and Lecture, hosted by author and journalist Benjamin Law, is proudly supported by the City of Sydney.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to attend the 2024 Sydney Peace Prize Award Ceremony and Lecture, where together we can honour and celebrate the vital work of the world's largest humanitarian network.

We have tickets available at varying prices to suit your needs. You can purchase your ticket here.
