Presented by the Folk Federation of NSW, the Sydney Folk Festival is a showcase of the diversity of folk, with bespoke concerts, workshops, interactive sessions, dance and spoken word programs.
Whether you like it a little bit trady, a little bit revival or spiced up with modern grooves and catchy hooks you’ll find plenty on our program to get your folk on. Styles come together often fusing elements of rock, classical or jazz to create emerging contemporary folk genres. It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss.
We can’t wait to see you all and are delighted to let you know that we will be inviting our booked 2021 artists to be part of the 2022 event. Find out more about them on the festival website.
SydFolkFest22 will have two main festival hubs in Surry Hills not far from Central Station and within 700m walking distance of each other.
Our main hub is the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre, 37 Reservoir St where you’ll find two concert venues and our workshop spaces. Our second hub is the Gaelic Club, 1/64 Devonshire St hosting a range of events throughout the weekend.
