Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship I Final

Sunday July 14 – Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship (21-35 years) – Concert Hall, The Concourse, Chatswood, accompanied by Willoughby Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dr Nicholas Milton 

The Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship is the longest standing event in the festival. Originally known as the Sun Aria, this event was established with the first Sydney Eisteddfod in 1933 to discover the finest voices throughout Australia and New Zealand. Five finalists and two reserve finalists perform to esteemed adjudicators who are leading singers, directors and conductors. The Sydney Eisteddfod John Lamble Foundation Scholarship is valued at $45,000.
