Sydney Dance Company x Zampatti Powerhouse

When

Thursday 4 May from 3pm to 4pm Friday 5 May from 3pm to 4pm

Emerging contemporary dancers enrolled in Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year perform a new work inspired by Zampatti Powerhouse.

Over the semester, students will engage with the exhibition to create a movement vocabulary inspired by Carla Zampatti’s personal history and professional legacy. This will culminate in an afternoon performance of experimental movement at Powerhouse, echoing components of Zampatti’s work. The performance will feature live music accompaniment by members of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
