Sydney CBD Secret Bar Crawl with Stories

When

Tuesdays and Fridays, 6:30pm to 10pm Tuesday 1 April to Tuesday 31 March 2026

Drink and discover on Sydney’s best nightlife tour!

Get ready to explore Sydney's best small bars in the city centre with a fun group of travellers and locals! This bar tour is perfect for visitors and locals alike, and a great way for people new to Sydney to have a fun and unique night out.

Over 3.5 hours, you'll visit some of the best small bars around Sydney's city centre. We stop for drinks at 4 bars, with 1 drink (beer or wine). As we explore, you'll hear stories of local heroes & villains, crazy but true history and learn a bit about Australian slang and humour too.

On Tuesday nights, we explore some of Sydney’s best bars around the CBD, with a focus on the “Bermuda’s Triangle” of small bars spread across York, Clarence and Kent (YCK) street precinct.

On Friday nights, you’ll have fun in the southern end of the city centre, including a visit to the Chinatown night markets and Thaitown, the hidden gem of Sydney’s CBD.

After the tour, we’ll provide you with a map link to all the bars and places visited throughout the night, plus some extra spots to check out. This is your ticket to the best night out in Sydney!

Note this isn't a "pub crawl" with hundreds of people - we go to quality small bars that locals drink at (no sticky floors and no cheap shots). Maximum group size is 10 people so it is perfect for solo travellers and people new to Sydney. The average age of guests is from mid-20s to mid-40s, but everyone over 18 is welcome.

What we provide:

  • 3.5 hour guided activity

  • Reservations at 3 – 4 small or hidden bars

  • 1 alcoholic drink (beer or wine only)

  • Group photos

  • Map with recommendations
