Glebe Point Road will transform into a relaxed and convivial pedestrian-only zone for 1 day only.
The area will be closed to traffic from 11am to 10pm between Parramatta Road and St Johns Road.
Come and enjoy sculpture displays from the Shop Gallery and a bite at one of the many cafes and restaurants who'll be dining alfresco, including Despana Tapas Wine Bar, Becketts (with live oyster shucking), Dirty Red Café, Tommy's Beer Cafe, No 92 and The Peak Hong Kong Café.
Special offers will be on hand at San Churro, The Vegan Grocery Store, Mineralism and beer tastings at Dirty Red Café.
Ciccone & Sons will take their gelateria to the streets with outdoor dining and music and Paint & Sip Studios will host free painting workshops. You can even join free latin dancing workshops with Amigoss.
Groove the afternoon away with live music from the Kate Wadey Trio, The Oompah Loompah Band, The Pre-Loved, Ephemera Ensemble and roving African drummers.
Kids will love the Australian native bug performers and after the sun sets you'll be enchanted by fire performers and LED dancers.
The Summer Streets events are being held to help support local businesses and to provide more outdoor entertainment for residents. Special event clearway parking restrictions will also be in effect so check signs carefully, visit livetraffic.com for more info.
