String art class for kids (7-12 years)

In this hands-on Sydney class, children will create their own unique wall hanging!

During the class, their teacher will take them through all the steps involved to make their piece. They can choose whether they would like to draw their own design or use one of the template designs we provide. They will then transfer their drawing outline onto their background panel forming the outlines with hammer and nails.

Once they choose their wool colours, they will get started with the wool wrapping to finish their design! At the end of the class, each child will be able to take home their masterpiece to hang up proudly at home.

This Sydney school holidays class is suitable for eight to 12-year-old children. If you are looking for school holiday activities in Sydney, then this is perfect!

Please note: We encourage parents/carers to advise us of a child’s special needs so we can assess whether we need to adapt any part of the workshop or request the parents/carers to stay.
