Social Inclusion Week aims to help all Australians feel included and valued, giving everyone the opportunity to participate fully in society. This year’s theme is ‘Connect, collaborate and celebrate’. Can you imagine a better way to do this than through song?

Join the group for a special performance and take part in a 40-minute workshop where you'll learn and sing a song together as a group.

We welcome people of all nationalities to attend and learn about First Nations culture, stories, and songs, whether you want to sing for the first time or have been singing all your life.

Barayagal is a community choir, hosted by Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Sydney University, meeting weekly at Redfern Community Centre. It’s administered by YARN Australia, and Last Minute Productions.

This is a free event open to all ages.

We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Karen Flood, programs coordinator on 02 9265 9333 or Kflood@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
