Curious about silversmithing? In this hands-on beginner workshop, you’ll make one pair of sterling silver earrings using traditional tools and techniques – no experience needed.

You will learn how to saw out your chosen shape from a sheet of solid sterling silver. The teacher will guide you through buffing, shaping, adding texture and drilling holes for attaching the shepherd’s hooks.

  • How to use a jeweller’s saw to shape sterling silver

  • How to drill, file, and texturise your silver dangle earrings

  • How to attach a shepherd’s hook

  • How to polish and finish your earrings
