SideFX Group Art Fxhibition

The film and television industry in Sydney is thriving and being the home base for the many that contribute creatively and artistically to the industry, Sydney is the perfect city to host this exhibition.

Behind the scenes is a creative world who’s hard work and talent, which is typically shared only in a flash, within the confines of a television or movie screen, can now be accessible and appreciated collectively within the walls of an intimate gallery setting. The exhibit includes pieces created for and used in film and television productions as well as personal work created on the side. These pieces will include an eclectic mix of sculpture, paintings, props, kinetic and animatronic art.

Not only does this exhibition bring practical effects artists together to share and celebrate the love and enthusiasm of their craft, it also brings the film and television industry community and arts community together, creating an engaging, educational, entertaining, inspiring and very unique event. The only arts exhibition of its kind in Sydney.

With 3 consecutive, successful years, the SideFX exhibition together with the addition of artist talks and Q&A, has become a popular event attracting hundreds of attendees each year.
