SHIFTING HORIZONS
Shifting Horizons brings together the work of Janet Cheetham and Janice Ralph in a vibrant exploration of people, perspective and the pull of discovery.
Inspired by journeys across Australia and around the world, the exhibition moves from the ancient beauty of the Outback and Tasmania’s Tarkine to the rolling hills of Umbria, the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An and the restless energy of New York.
Janet is drawn to the rhythm of everyday life — bustling markets, city streets and fleeting moments of human connection. Her work captures the colour, character and energy found where culture, history and daily life intersect.
Janice draws inspiration from the Australian environment, capturing its changing moods, raw beauty and sense of timelessness. From remote coastlines to the vast interior, her work reveals a deep connection to the natural world.
Some places stay with us. Others change the way we see. Shifting Horizons captures both, through two artists with distinctly different ways of looking at the world.
