Shapeshifting through the forces of ritual, voice & activism

Where
Pitt St
Redfern NSW 2016
Australia
When

Wednesday 26 April from 6pm to 9pm

Regardless of one's culture or religion, ritual has an increasingly important role to play in our material and fast -pasted lives, and has linked our humanity since the beginning of time.

One of the most important roles ritual plays in our daily lives is it helps us create and nourish our sense of self, as there is a deep connection through ritual that helps build community. It helps us transition, and mark the ages of our lives as passages of time, where we learn to express ourselves simultaneously in joy and in sorrow, and gives us an outlet for self-expression, creativity, trust and play.

The acts of ritual motivate and move us into places sometimes harder to access. They are not only rites of passage, but they allow for our primal impulses and emotions to have a channel for expression, to assist us to step out of our logical 2D reality and find deeper purpose and connection.

The power of connecting with the world in a sacred way through ritual is where we learn to see our place in it, and truly discovery that our actions and our words matter. When we live and embody our truth, then we speak truth to power. When we honor our voice, we remember that our words matter, and from there we can stand for what matters most to us in the world, and when we then give permission to our innate creativity, we can be both powerfully effective and visionary.

So who wants to empower a sense of spiritual authority?

You’re invited to an evening of pure delight with Suzanne Sterling in town for a short time only, where you get to amplify your own energy and life force, collectively recalling that our individual spiritual sovereignty matters greatly right now, as it impacts our communal wellspring.
