Shakira Clanton: Still, I Rise

When

Wednesday 5 May from 7pm to 8pm Thursday 6 May from 7pm to 8pm Friday 7 May from 7pm to 8pm Sunday 9 May from 5pm to 6pm

Join us, as we gather to listen to Shakira Clanton tell stories of her extraordinary life and perform her favourite songs.

Underscored by Jeremi Campese’s astounding skill on the cello, this work is honest, hilarious and thoroughly human.

Shakira’s impressive list of theatre credits include Barbara and the Camp Dogs (_Belvoir /Queensland Theatre). Henrietta Baird's _The Weekend (Sydney Festival/Moogahlin), and I'm With Her (Darlinghurst Theatre Company).

"You may trod me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I'll rise." - Maya Angelou

“Clanton brilliantly transforms”

Sydney Morning Herald on The Weekend

“Shakira Clanton is a knockout”

– The Audrey Journal on I’m With Her
