SciFest 2024 invites you to immerse yourself in a world where science meets art, where curiosity knows no bounds, and where discovery awaits at every turn. 

The festival brings science to life – throwing open laboratory doors and transporting science into the everyday. Head back to science class with interactive activities, games, live stage shows and talks that showcase the wonders of science, technology, engineering, maths, medicine, and the arts.

Designed to appeal to all ages, from curious kids to inquisitive adults, the festival features an array of activities that will spark imagination and curiosity, including:

  • Ecosystem Encounters: Dive into the world of frogs, snakes and crocs, then get up close and personal with our interactive reptile, frog, and bug displays.

  • Live Chemistry Experiments: Witness thrilling chemistry experiments in action with our resident mad scientists

  • Creative Clash: Human v Machine: Discover how humans and AI approach creativity differently in this interactive talk.

  • Stargazing: Peer into the cosmos with telescopes or immerse yourself in the wonders of the universe in the planetarium.

  • Chem Class in a Glass: Head back to school and learn the art (and science) of mixing cocktails. This event is ticketed, and strictly for 18+ [tickets released soon]

  • Exhibitions and Installations: Explore over 40 captivating exhibitions and installations showcasing the impact of science on the world in creative and educational ways.
